Dosage Guide: 0.5ml - 1.0ml (Afza Flavor)
Afza flavor is a cooling, floral concentrate inspired by traditional rose and herb distillates. Using a dosage of 0.8ml is ideal for 1 liter of liquid or 1kg of solid food.
Common Applications
Refreshing Beverages Afza flavor is primarily used to create traditional red sharbats by mixing it into chilled water with sugar. It is also excellent in dairy, where 0.5ml can transform a liter of plain milk or lassi into a fragrant rose-milk drink. For a modern twist, you can add 1ml to a pitcher of lemonade or carbonated soda to create an exotic mocktail.
Traditional Desserts In desserts like Kheer, Phirni, or Rabri, adding 0.5ml during the cooling phase provides a deep floral aroma. It is the essential flavoring for Falooda milk and jellies. If you are making Shahi Tukray, mixing 0.8ml into the sugar syrup gives the dish a professional, catering-style finish.
Baking and Confectionery You can use 0.8ml in a standard cake batter to create a "Persian" style sponge cake. It also works very well when folded into whipped cream or buttercream frosting for a floral decorative finish. In candy making or gummy production, this dosage provides a strong, sweet scent that masks the smell of gelatin or starch.
Ice Creams and Kulfi For homemade ice cream or kulfi, 0.8ml per liter of base is the standard. Because cold temperatures suppress flavor perception, this slightly higher dose ensures the floral notes remain prominent once the dessert is frozen.
